A Dream That Was So Real....

Last week I had a dream of my beloved Grandma who's been dead for years...I never thought it was just a dream because she was so alive and real when we talked. We had a conversation about many things and pretty much enjoying what we're doing, as if we're just spending a normal afternoon together at the porch. Until the time when she bade goodbye that I realized that I was just dreaming all alone and longing for her company..I woke up crying and remembering the time when she passed away and I wasn't there beside her-- that should've been the last moment when I can tell her how much I love her and how thankful I am for her presence imn my life.

At the time you had the dream, were you stressed or did you need the support of someone who understood you? I, too, dream of my grandparents and my favorite uncle at times. It is generally when I need the support of a family member to get me through a particularly tough situation. I choose to believe that our minds are more open in the sleeping state, and our loved ones can find a way to communicate with us. I also did not have the ability to say goodbye to any of these people who were so important in my life. But those dreams that occur at times when I need them the most tell me that they knew how I felt without hearing the words, and are still with me on some level unseen or unheard in our every day lives. Take joy in the fact that your Grandmother chose to visit you in your dreams. She will visit again when you need her the most, and you can tell her then, just how much she meant to you.

Thank you for enlightening me..I got confused at times when I dream of circumstances like these when I have not thought about it when I was still awake... NOW I know. Thanks a lot for the explanation.
