I think their movies get most of the international film awards making it the finest in the world of cinema...i happened to see "The White Balloon" and "The Children of Heaven", I think their movies basically focus more on the gloomy side of the life and explores childhood on its own terms with great respect and unerring sense of truth...check it out for urself
