Can't Help Singing Out Loud!

June 12, 2008 9:15am CST
It's finally happening! This weekend we're getting away from the awful people we've been stuck living with! We're moving! It's going to be just the two of us and our cats. The cats will be thrilled too once they settle in as they really don't like one of the people we live with either. One of them always poops and piddles around the side of her bedroom. I think it's because she radiates such inner ugliness that the cats can sense it. Anyway, joy! It seems like it's taken forever to get here. I hope we have good weather and a not-too-stressful move. Neither seems likely, but I can hope! Finally! No queueing for the toilet. Here there's been four people and one bathroom. In the new house there's two bathrooms and just the two of us anyway!

Hi phaedra_scythe that was great and its sounds happy, I wish you all the best in life and take good care of your new home. But even though you like it the way you wan it, I think you will miss them too, specially right now that you are living only with your partner.

Thank you so much for your kind wishes, but believe me I won't miss my housemates! They lie, steal and made my partner's and my life miserable. I'm so happy to be free of their ugliness. They can stew in it now. We're free!

Hi friend, In that case I think you are now free and forget all the things that happened before with your housemate. You have your own house and brand new life now. But my advice is what ever happen before you should try to forgive them because forgiveness is the true essence of freedom.

Four people and one bathroom? No way. If there's two bathrooms where you're moving, won't the cats want their own? Here's hoping your move went smoothly_ Let us know how it worked out? Are your cats enjoying the outside?

Actually, the cats are sort of getting their own one! The downstairs loo is tiny and out of the way, so that's where their litter trays are going! I'm sure I'll post about how it's going late next week when the Internet gets hooked up again.

That is certainly a reason to sing an aria that can be heard all the way to the moon. Being cooped up with too many people and not enough bathrooms is a terrible thing and no one should have to endure that, not even cats. Congratulations on you move and I hope you keep on singing.

Well thank you very much. We're moved in to the new place now (well, us and all our stuff are in the house, but things definitely aren't settled in yet!) and I'm singing all over the place!

I'm definitely going to be able to relax once everything is tidied away. I'll no longer have to jump when I hear the door go or wake up because there's music thumping up through the bedroom floor!

congratulations on moving into a new house. you and yours including your kitties should really be happy. hope your move goes really smooth, and it doesnt rain as that will help too. I know how miserable it can be living with people you do not like. we had the neighbors from hell living below us in our last apartment but we havemoved since to a peacefful apt. complex with decent neighbors and a lot of gardens here, a really pretty place to live. we each have out own bathroom here, my adult son and I and that is real' luxury to me. lol.

Thank you. It did rain! *lol* But what else can you expect in Wales? I guess we all learn from experiences like that to appreciate having our own space more, but there was still so much I really could have done without!

Yay! I'm happy for you. I'm going to be moving soon, too. I'm sure when but after I get married I'll be moving out of my parent's house and in with my husband. It'll be nice to have our own place. I hope your back is feeling better from the other day. :)

Oh wow, that is a big change. I remember when I first left home it was kind of weird and scary, but once you live outside the family home, it's impossible for you to go back! Once I'd tasted freedom and independence, you couldn't have paid me to live with my parents again! Thank you for your kind wishes. My back seems ok now, it's just everything else that hurts from all the moving work! D'oh!

They're housecats, but if the area around the new house is nice and safe, I may let them venture outside for the first time later this summer! I'm so anxious for my babies though! I'm definitely an overprotective mum! xxxx
