Nowadays, there is lot of news about child abuses, doing the round daily, across the world. What is the sin committed by those children? When will this stop? It makes me think about those primitive stone age. Are we going back to that age? When we boast ourselves highly of our civilisation, is this a retrogade development? Or is this because of civilisation itself? What are your views and comments?

Child abuse has always been around. In fact you don't have to go back to the stone ages to find it was done openly and with society's approval less than 100 years ago. And is still the norm in some countries. We frown upon spankings, elsewhere it's an acceptable punishment. We frown upon child labor, elsewhere it's the only way a family can survive. Although people have in the last few decades become more secretive about it, especially real child abuse past just a little spanking, doesn't mean it doesn't take place. Just because society condemns it doesn't mean it doesn't take place. But just because society condemns it, news about child abuse is front page material. And because such cases make headline news now we think we hear more about it and there must be an increase in cases. It's not really that way. It's more that people pay more attention and will tell on their neighbor, friend, co-worker, in order to protect a child, when in past decades they may have turned a blind eye.

No we are not going back to the stone age. It is just that it has been happening for a long time. Children being kidnapped, sold off by parents or killed by mercenaries etc.. the list goes on. Alot of us are having good lives and not many people knew about such things. Such things occur discretely. This days with the capability to track such activities, people are getting to know whats happening. I can`t say that it will end but hopefully sometime in the future it will.

we are worst off. whatever tall claims we may put forward and claim to be highly advanced, sophisticated etc. but we are not humane. so many spate of murders at the hands of servants and own family members and this child abuse and umpteen number of other heinous crimes is a testimony to what i said.
