Why are some friends so possessive?

I have a friend who just can't bear that I don't call her often enough, or that I haven't agreed to some program of her, and like that. I know that she values me so much, but this kind of possessiveness makes me angry sometimes. She fails to understand, that I have some obligations for others too. And if I don't for once do something that she prescribes, then she gets cross and doesnt want to have anything to do with me, which again pains me. What should I do?

possessiveness ruin life!
and you want to know why... because if a person is possessive and he don't want his girl talking to another boy. he is not good as the second boy. he is afraid that his girl will fall in love with the second boy... he don't believe in her love. he don't believe in his love. he is not good as the second boy...
I had experienced the bitter taste of possessiveness

I've never had a possessive friend. I can't even imagine how I'd feel about someone almost trying too hard for my friendship. Maybe she's insecure about herself. Or life. Maybe you should try getting her to open up more about her feelings and thoughts. Or schedule some time to talk to her without distractions. Eventually she may tell you what's really going on.

Mainly because she is very insecure. Also, very jealous too. She is selfish and she wants you all to herself. She does not want you to be around others, for fear that this may cause you to drop her.. If I had a friend like this, I wold not deal with her. Any friend that does not have any patience, is no friend of mines.. Sorry..
