Have you ever lost your soap behind the toilet?

Our tub and shower is situated next to the toilet in the back bathroom. That's not a good thing. It's not the ideal location. But, I can't do much about it. We don't have a built in soap dish, like in the front shower, so my soap keeps slipping down onto the floor behind the toilet, everytime I put it down. I need a soap caddy or something. I've gotten so tired of losing my soap that way, that I have started cutting each bar soap into thirds. That way if I lose something or it goes down the drain then I haven't lost much. I'm seriously thinking about switching to body wash! How often do you lose your soap behind the toilet?

I use body wash, and that is one of the reasons- not specifically dropping it behind the toilet, but just dropping it in general. It's a pain, especially because I wash while I have conditioner in my hair. When I bend down to get the soap, I have to go under the stream of water and it rinses my hair before I want to.

Oh, that's the worst! That happens to me, as well!

Hahaha!! I think this is a funny one. I have experienced this a couple of times when visiting friends whose toilet seat is just in front of the shower. It's okay if the toilet seat has a cover so the soap won't go it if it slips out of my hand. You can do something about it. Just put a basin to cover the toilet mouth while you are showering so the soap won't swim in there again. Well, I have been using shower cream for years now but every time I go back to the Philippines I still use the bar soap as the liquid is not yet that popular.

Lol. I think switching to body wash is a good idea. My toilet is situated right next to my tub in my guest bathroom, but we have a built in soap dish so I have not experienced this problem. My mother in law always seems to have weird things happening in that bathroom when she visits (the tub stopper getting stuck, the hot water sink faucet making a screaching noise, what next??) but never losing the soap behind the toilet.

Hello dear beauty queen. There was one time the soap I was using fell into the toilet and I had to pick it up and wash it again and again before it was reused. hehe.

Ha ha, I remember having it happen to me on a few occasions, but not anytime of late, I think I've grown cautious and conscious learning from my earlier experiences. For your case, try switching to a liquid soap, slicing soaps is tedious.
