Does anyone know how I can find clients to purchase Avon products? Or find anyone that is interested in making a little extra cash by becoming an Avon Rep? I'm a very shy person and I really don't seem to meet a lot people. So if anyone is looking for a rep or becoming a rep and would like to help me out, it would be greatly appreciated. Maybe even offer me some pointers in getting better? I look forward to hearing your ideas. Thanks

If you want to make more money with Avon you're going to have to spend a little bit. I use to be an Avon Rep. What I did was purchase extra brouchures and took a morning to deliver them to people's houses. I would leave them in their mail boxes. Avon pretty much sells itself so all you have to do is wait for the calls. When I put my orders in, this was my time to figure out what area I would leave flyers for everyone on that street. I'm not sure how you do your order whether it's online or through paper orders but if you do it online there are some techniques you can learn online. There were some printable coupons that I photocopied and they were good deals.. I had a frequent buyer card where the customer would make 10 orders then get a free gift. This encouraged a lot of my customers to make an order each and every time. Also, when you get enough product when Avon sends you free things, make a basket and have a draw for those who spend $15.00 on a brochure. hope this helps, have a great day!

Nixxi, Thank you so much, I love the idea with frequent buyers. I do have a repeat customers that's always spending. I just now printed out Avon Buxs to insert into fliers to see if that would help. And I do my ordering online because I have the 2 extra days to obtain sales. I will get hoping to doing the frequent buyer card. Thanks again for your advice. Cheers, Giggles

Nixxi, did you ever have anyone complain? I'm always afraid that someone is going to complain that I'm leaving them junk mail. I'm also afraid of going door-to-door simply because I don't want to disturb people. Darn shyness! I love the idea for a drawing, but unfortunately, the area I live in requires that you have a raffle license to do that. :(

You are not supposed to put them on the mail boxes. You can leave them in the paper boxes, but you can throw them in drive ways in the whats new plastic bags or hang them on door knobs. I like to throw a few brochures in a campaign. Leave them eveywhere you go and wait.

I just started selling Avon, so I don't have a lot of customers yet. I hit up my friends and asked them to casually leave a brochure at their work, so long as it wouldn't get them in trouble. I've also been leaving one at my doctor's waiting room and the chiropractor's waiting room. No calls yet, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. One thing I'm hoping to start soon is a Referral program. What I want to do is something like "Refer a friend to me, and get 10% of their first order in a coupon for your next order!". I'm not sure I want to use 5% or 10%, but I figured it might help get people to talk their friends into buying from me as well. I'm also a fairly shy person, and one of the reasons I joined Avon was to try and break out of the shyness. No luck so far LOL. You can also print out flyers and post them at the grocery stores. I've been posting them just where I shop, but again, I've not seen any new people from this, so I can't tell if it works or not. Hope some of these ideas help.

LOL, You're actually like me.. I joined Avon to see if I can break out of my shyness as well. I've actually tried the fliers and referral club. So far no one bites. My boyfriend is a detailer, so when he goes into different locations, he always posts a flier and business card up on the bulletin board. I wish you luck and thanks for the advise. -Giggles

I like that Idea with the pens, thanks; I will try that. Especially if they're like me and always losing a pen or there's never a pen in site. Thanks again for the tip!

I would suggest getting the whats new bags and putting your brochures in those. you could also go to the dollar store and find some clear mailing labels and round pens for cheap. put your info on the labels and roll onto the pen. so when you give out your brochure its in a bag(easy to carry) and putting a pen in there lets the customer write in the book! Good Luck!
