Have you ever had such a friend?

I had this friend. She used to want to go out with me. She got a boyfriend. I got a girlfriend. She didn't think she was the one for me. I took it as jealousy and destroyed the friendship. My girlfriend was talking crap about her for these reasons. I felt that God wanted me to restore the relationship with that friend. I did. My girlfriend went to do the same. The friend said something like i'm sorry but you talk about yourself too much and everything is too much about you and i need to focus on me more. I broke off the friendship again because of this. I didnt see my girlfriends supposed "self centered ness". About a month went by. I started to notice everything that former friend had said coming true. My girlfriend was focused too much on herself. Everything was about her. She was nice and all, but i couldn't deal with it. I realized she wasn't the one i could be together forever with, and that she wasn't the one for me. I told my former friend sorry and she pushed everything i had put her through aside. She told me she still loved me like a brother and can't wait to hang out with me again. She is a very amazing person.
