I took my boys (4 and 7) to see Kung Fu Panda yesterday. There were 23 minutes of previews. My 4 year old was ready to go home before the movie even started. Don't they know that kids don't have that kind of attention span. Heck, most adults don't have that kind of attention span. I just think that with children's movies they should keep the previews to a minumum.

I see what you are saying, but I loved watching the previews when I was a kid. I still do like to see previews for new movies even today. xD

I don't mind previews, but 25 minutes is a lot even for me.

I see where you're coming from. But im not against previews, i actually like them and look forward to them whenever i watch a movie. I think that they should just align the previews to the audience and the type of movie they're showing. So if it's Kung Fu Panda, i guess it's alright to show previews of the same type. When I watched Kung Fu Panda i saw the preview of Magdagascar 2, and i was really thrilled about it.

I think they're hoping that the kids will see something they like and beg their parent to buy it for them. I think previews are annoying and there should be less of them before all movies. My sister likes them, though. She looks forward to seeing them before a movie and never skips them on a DVD.
