Ever had Sweet Pork Buns at a Chinese restaurant?

This Chinese place by where I used to live made these really good Cha Siu Bao (Sweet Barbecue Pork Buns). They used biscuit dough instead of making the regular bread and deep fried them instead of steaming them. I once got some at a bakery in CHina Town in Chicago that were steamed the way they are supposed to be. Both were great. I have not seen them on the menu at any other Chinese restaurant since. Ever had Sweet Pork Buns at a Chinese restaurant?

No I have never had them. And until now I have never heard of them. They sound like they might be tasty. I guess they are rare. My hubby hasn't heard of them either. Maybe you can find a recipe somewhere and make them for yourself.

I never ordered sweet, they just say pork buns, and I love them, my favorite.
