Soliloquy is a an act of self-talking. Thus, you are conversing with yourself. It is not a form of insanity but it really helps you to know yourself. I am a soliloquist. It aids me especially in times when i need advises and someone to talk with and there is no one there. I become a friend of myself. And it is also like hearing what is in your mind. You are telling yourself what your mind thinks and what your heart feels. This is a good thing to do but not resorting to isolation of oneself to the other people. This also develops your intrapersonal intelligence.

Yeah. I agree. I too talk to myself to boost my confidence and motivate myself to do things. It is like I am encouraging myself to something I am thinking that I cant do alone. And by talking to myself, I feel that I am no longer alone although technically I am. :)
