Finally going back to college...

I am happy to say that I have decided to go ahead with college instead of a technical school. My only worries are about financial aid. I figured that I wouldn't really have to worry about it. But I just found out that I might get the total amount of money that I need from them. I am an adult, so my parents weren't on the fafsa application, only my earnings for the year before(which wasn't much). I'm not really sure what I am asking. Just some assurance or something that I will be able to get the money or something. Thanx ;)
