No vidhyagowri, you only receive one points for a discussion. So if 200 persons respond to your discussion it is still one points. The more discussions you post and response to is the more points you have.

The number of posts you have made is in the parenthis beside your name. When you respond to a post this number will go up right away when you start a discussion it will go up when someone responds.

As far as I am able to recognise, the amount of posts you have made on MyLot is the number displayed in brackets next to your username. For example, mine is 50 or 51 at the moment, I believe. Yours is currently at 190. I have observed though that my post count doesn't always increase with every post or comment I make, and only usually every second or third - I don't know why this is or if this is the same for everybody else, but I have probably made somewhere in the region of 75 to 80 posts.
It could just be that the number in brackets is the amount of posts that you make earnings on or if they have to be of a certain length before they count. I wouldn't be able to tell you which because I have only been using the site for three or four days and don't know it that well yet. I'm not sure if it might also be displayed on your profile but it is worth a check. You must have made a lot of money on the site already if you have made so many posts. I made just 15 cents short of two dollars for forty posts so you must have made nearly $10.00 at least, right? Reached payout yet?
