Is your computer working slow during startup....i have a solution...

solution 1: if you are using windows xp then ..if you are facing slow windows statup..then u just type msconfig on run and disable the uwanted programs running in ur start up... this will improove ur start up speed..

Oh thank you for that, I have written it down, I have no idea about the computer and like to take note of things I might be able to use in the future, thats nice of you to share that information...

This works for vista too - msconfis is a great place to get the computer starting up better and faster. You just have to be careful what you disable...sometimes you can really screw some things up!

Thanks for sharing this Abhijith, I'm using Autoruns from http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx I never knew msconfig has a simpler one.
