Friends

How many of the friends that you've made on the internet have you met in person? How did it go and are you still friends today? I have met 4 people that i met online and all became very good friends of mine and i still know and talk to them to this day.
So what are your experiences with this?

I've met three people in person that I've met online. One would be my boyfriend of 5 years...another would be someone i no longer talk often to...i met her about 6 years ago and then she introduced me at a later point online to my boyfriend without telling me SHE had a crush on him and stopped talking to me when he and i started dating (stopped talking to him to). She invited me to her wedding last summer so I guess she was done being mad at me.
The third is a guy i met online and we're still good friends. He keeps talking about coming back to canada to visit me and a few other friends that he made while staying with another friend last time. I went to meet him and he ended up being the guy who was staying with a college friend.

Thats cool. I had no idea you met that many people in person from the internet. I thought your boyfriend was the only one you've met so far lol.

I must agree that Internet friends on meeting personally will become thick and best friends. I have couple of internet friends with whom I interact even today. They are special.

I totally agree. Two of my closest best friends are ones i met online first before meeting in person.
