Today I bought a new UPS for my computer as my old UPS was not working well. My comp is up and ready, but I don't know what to do with my old UPS? Should I discard it? Or is it possible to use it for some other purpose? What do you do with your old UPS?

Try to look at the specs and manual of your old UPS sramanujam. Some UPS would stop functioning only because of wear out of drained batteries. If for just a few amount you can replace the battery it might be functional again. If that is the case and you were able to repair it, then you can either set it aside as a back-up, or you can sell it with more value for a little more reasonable price compared to selling it in a non-functional status.

My old UPS is 8 years old and I don't have the manual also. I bought new one because my old UPS is too old. But I couldn't sell it in second hand because of same problem .

If you wanted a spare you could just order some replacement batteries for it, change them out and have a spare one. I have done that previously and other times if the battery proves to be too costly I take them into the recycling depo and recycle them.
