One of my sons is addicted to an online game called World of Warcraft. He is really into it, for, say 7 or 8 hours a day if he is able. Have you heard of, or ever played, World of Warcraft. What is your opinion of the game?

good day..I herd about this game. It's RPG and it's web based, where players can from all over the globe can meet and play. One of it's top feature is it's great graphics and game play, a player can get literally lost in it. With this feature and many others the game is highly addictive. For me anything that can be addictive must be controlled or else the one's affected would neglect matter's which are more important like hygiene, proper meal time and of course studies.

I think you're right. My son gets into the game so much he gets excited as if it's the real thing, killing tigers and fighting knights and such. Plus, all his friends also play and he talks to them on the headset and fights with their characters on the game, and that makes
it more real to them, too. But he does leave the computer sometimes to do other things for awhile so I'm hoping he will eventaully lose interest in it.

Thanks. I think my son is like your daughter. We are going to have to make his game cards contingent upon his grades next year because last year he spent a lot of time on the game and
his grades went down a lot.

My daughter told me about some people she knows who won't even leave the game to cook their food. Instead they order out all the time so they don't have to leave the computer screen. I wonder how these people earn money to pay for their food if they never leave the game.
