Which Search Engine do you prefer (and why)?

I have used Google for many years, since I have found it to be the most 'intelligent' by far, giving me a high proportion of the links I want to see. Recently I have been using a program which pays me a little for each search. They used to use Google (so I got the same results as I would anyway) but they have recently changed to Yahoo. Even though I am earning fractionally more from each search, I don't find the Yahoo results as satifying, somehow. Do you use one search engine consistently or do you "mix 'n' match" depending on what you need to know? What tips do you have to offer on finding information on the Internet?

I have made an average of 12 or 13 searches a day since the beginning of May. They pay, on average, about 2.1p for each search. I spent quite a bit of time researching the company and I feel that it is a very responsible and well set up business. It seems to have been founded by two brothers in their late teens whose mother and father are both in business (web design and other things). They seem to have a respectable number of members and to have addressed the problem of people hoping to scam the system by entering false searches. Their website is clean and reasonably easy to use, though I find that it logs one out rather often. They obviously have plans to increase the facilities on the site to make it fit in with 'social networking'. I believe that they are an honest and legitimate company who will (and already do) pay. I expect to reach the minimum amount by the end of June.
