Recent death of political correspondent Tim Russert

In my humble opinion, it seems that Tim was a very "straight up" kinda guy who truly respected all political viewpoints, but was honest and not a "push over" with any political figure. Regardless of his own political viewpoint, he seemed to be able to set that aside and be fair with everyone. What are your views, experiences, rememberences of Tim and his career?

I'm kind of young, but from what I've read and heard, he sounded like my kind of politician. He seemed like a real person, with a heart AND a brain... He will be missed But remembered kindly...

While he was a political news correspondent, and never a politician, you are right... he had a real heart, and brain! Thanks.

a lot of people will miss him around election results night. i like what tom brokaw said was "his meat and potatoes suit."
