How can we stop referral links?

If you're like me,you've had numerous discussions you've responded to deleted because someone put a referral link on it.This costs every one responds to the discussion,as well as the one that started it,money. What can we do as a group to get this to stop? I always try to politely explain this is a rules violation to people who do this, but it still happens.I'm,personally, tired of losing money because some people can't follow the rules.

I think some just don't know, and then some just don't care. Maybe a message somewhere on the site where it would be seen easily would help.

I have noticed that not many read the rules, terms of service or the FAQ. I do agree that it is unfair to delete an entire discussion due to one or two not following the rule. What to do? We all need to speak up and send our suggestions to Support. A website such as this can only improve if enough people care to send in their ideas, their dislikes and their likes in a politically correct manner. They may not change the policy or the way they handle these posters who break the rules, but we will have done what we can to help this site grow instead of sitting quietly by watching it go downhill due to issues such as this.
