The Canadian Government is preparing to drop a copyright bomb on it's citizenry. Critics say it will look like the American U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). Some of the joys of this legislation include: "-- A $500 fine for each illegal file shared online -- Making it illegal to unlock cellphones or copy music from protected CDs to iPods -- Forbidding the right to copy "time shifted" shows onto personal video recorders if flagged by broadcasters. Canadians need to get on the horn to their Powers That Be.

Honestly, how are they going to catch the coping shows in recorders? You going to confess.
