Is ORKUT a boon or curse!!!

just use orkut those who would like to get friends. there is no need of taking unwanted things. there may be bad links. it have to be controlled by themself. but i dont think that orkut is a curse.

Well orkut is definitely as boon as long you keep control on yourself & follow its security tips & features & avoid those " oh so awesome " javascripts. It's a great way t socialize & make friends,as well as learn practically through interaction in its varied bouquet of communities. With the addition of social apps like iMusic, MySms, Slapster,Chat etc.,it has become even more interactive & friendly.

Hi friend, its boon for me.i got so many good old school friends.even now i keep in contact with them. Really it was boon for me.i enjoyed to surf in Orkut. happy myloting :-)

you know what my friend things are developed with good things in mind. but there are people who comes out with a miss use of it and that is where everything goes wrong. the main thing is how we want to use it. if we use it for good. then it is good, or else it is bad.

i must say both. due to orkut we can be in contact with many friends. it help to network, its not true that its a curse. but the way many use it is dangerous.

Nothing is good or bad it is just upto us that how we use it. I myself think that Orkut is great. It's a good place to make new friends who share the same interests as you and a good time pass too.

for me its a boon as i learned a lot form the communities and by meeting different people there. but some people use it badly and that is very sad that they use it in that way

Well,I think you can say its both.I mean orkut has its own advantages and disadvantages.The disadvantage being it invades our privacy and anyone around the world can know the information about us and may use it in an illegal way. The good thing is that,like mylot it also increases our typing speed.Also,it allows us to speak of our views freely.So,whether orkut is a boon or a curse depends on how we use it.
