Linguistic Mylot

no.if so,mylot would be no different from those online communities such as myspace. mylot is mylot coz it only accepts english and allows worldeide members to communicate with english freely.

hi, that is indeed very interesting thing and a good proposal, and by that we would be able to chat in hindi. and that way a lot of members will be joining mylot and also the fact that there are a lot of people who have joined the regional sites will be coming on to mylot. anyways have a good day.

If members could write in their own language then many members that don't speak that language could not post and respond and that would be a loss for all of us because then those of us that don't speak another language could not learn about different cultures as we can now. Everyone would be in their own little group and expanding.

Well,I think thats a good idea.But,I would prefer English for all.Not because I don't like my mother tongue but because its so tough to type regional languages in English.The words always ends wrong and it would take me ages to write one single line in orkut.So,most people just type their regional languages in English or just converse in English. Also,by the way,the staffs at mylot will have lots of difficulty to identify spam as its quite impossible to have staffs all over the world. I think its a good idea to have the mylot in different languages. But that will not profitable or won't do much good.Suppose if you post a discussion in Hindi only users who know Hindi will be able to reply. That is why standard English language is fine and there's no need to introduce more languages.

It'd be fun to have designated interests so one can use a different language, that'd be a good step. For example, Hobbies: Indian Language, Hobbies: Chinese Language. It might work out since its limited and specified that its a different language.
