Has anyone else encountered this problem?

I joined some new PTC's this week and was clicking away and came back and there were "nasty" sites on my screen. I was so embarrassed but was so thankful that my grandklds were not watching me. They love to watch me click away. I guess I am going to have to weed out these that are allowing these adult sites to advertise on them because that sure is not a Christian testimony for me to have these sites open up on my screen. I wish each PTC site would at least mark them so we knew they were not very nice. I have noticed some do but not all of them were very noticeable. How are you handling this? Thanks a God bless you!

I have noticed this happening too. One site had put a new adult category but then they had an adult link not in this category. My toddlers are a bit young to really understand but I will be trying to eliminate sites that do this so that I do not have them up when they are older and notice what is going on.

You are right that children do not need to see these awful things. I , myself, am 53 and I am too "young" to veiw these things. LOL Thanks for posting and God bless.

Yes, I have also encountered that problem and I find it quite unpleasant! I am no prude, but I think it is an invasion of privacy! My kids have also got computers and I fear that they might have come across sites like that too!

The admin will be trying to eliminate sites that do this, but sadly there are many that are not checked. I am sorry to hear this has happened to you.

it also happened on me. i was a bit shocked when i saw that kind of site. i just let it finish the countdown then i close it after that

I'm so sorry to hear that happened to you! I know that I've browsed what I thought was appropriate content only to find innappropriate stuff start coming up on my screens. Some of these sites can be quite nefarious. I hope you were able to get this resolved.

Ofcourse,I have also joined recently but i did'nt find such kind of sites except commercial.
