what's your definition of love ?

what's love ? I think it's a difficult question for most people including me. when i am a little boy i even don't realise its existence even though i was in the love of my parents and other relatives. when i was over ten years old i knew i love my parents. when i fist fell in my first love, i at that time said to her " i love you" with no clear definition or understanding of love. now i am a single boy and still don't clearly understand love. so could you tell me your definition or understanding of love ?
