My husband will soon be purchasing an 80G harddrive PSP and I was just wondering some things about this game system, such as... 1)How good does the old PS2 games run on it? 2)Can you go online with it and surf the net, as well as play games with friends online? 3)He told me that soon they will be releasing a wireless controller for it similar to the Wii controller, has anyone else heard anything about this? (I think this would be awesome by the way!) Also, I would just love to hear your experiences, as well as likes and dislikes about the PS3, I would really appreciate it, thanks!

I do not own a Playstation three, but my brother owns a Playstation two and he is happy with it,he said that he has heard that Playstation two games work perfectly on the Playstation three,he has also said that the Playstation three, has the ability to play games with people around the world, but without having to pay money like with X-box live, but he has not told me anything about a wireless controller,I know I have not been able to help you much, but I hope it helps.

Well I own a ps3 and I love it im guessing hes getting it for metal gear solid 4 which is the only good game out for playstation 3 at the moment. And yes ps2 and ps1 games do play on them pretty well. But what I love it for is that you can download movies and copy it and watch it like a dvd ever since I found that out i havent boughten a dvd I love how you can save it to the ps3 and watch it when ever and where ever you want as long as you have the system.

Wow, that's really cool! Does it take up a lot harddrive space when you do that?

I believe I've answered this question somewhere. For the first, the PS2 games play decently on a PS3 but bugs and errors have been reported. This is similar to the PS to PS2 issue, not surprising. You can go online with it and certain games are marked for online play. You build friends lists in game (or on the net or real life) and you invite that person when they come online. The wireless controller is out and yes it is pretty neat.

HI i'm leonhart91 i know the answers of all your questions so let's begin: 1.the answer for your first question is the 80GB ps3 and the 60GB ps3 both of them plays the psx and ps2 original games only but there is difference between the two ps3 editions as the 60GB one runs nearly 95 percent of the psx and ps2 original games as it uses it's hardware to run it unlike the 80GB edition which runs nearly 70 percent as it uses it's software to run the psx and ps2 original games note:only original psx and ps2 games can be played on ps3 2.the answer for your second question is yes,you can do both surfing the Internet and play online games like GT5 and resistance fall of man and many other 3. the answer of your third question is i'm not sure as i heared this too but the current sixaxis controller is pretty awesome too it senses the motion in 6 different ways (up,down, left, right, forward and back) all of the ps3 exclusive games uses it to
