Deer and car's don't mix

Some months ago I hit a deer with my car. I totaled the car out. I do not have good night vision anymore. Now I am afraid to drive at night. Have you ever hit a deer and Do you drive at night? Has your vision gotten worse as you have gotten older?

I'm sorry about that, that's very sad and scary. Yes, I hit a deer once, several years ago. It totalled my car but frankly I was way more sad about the doe that got killed. There was deer blood on my bumper. To this day I cannot listen to the song that was on the radio when it happened. I drive at night, but need glasses to do it because lights are too fuzzy.

p.s. I do have a slightly lighter-hearted story to add: My girlfriend's friend once hit a deer in her Geo Metro. The deer got up, walked away, and the Metro was totalled. :) The deer was essentially unhurt.
