I would think so since there's only one sin that is unforgivable in the eyes of God - and that is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. David committed murder and was favored by God. Moses committed murder and was still permitted to lead the Israelites out of Egypt. Cain murdered Abel and was still forgiven. I don't see why it would be any different once the Savior was born, crucified and resurrected.

Imagine this scenario, your man/husband murder you (he is really helping you to go to heaven before you are ready)he repents, baptise is now saved by the Holy Spirit only to die shortly after and rejoin you in heaven. How would you greet him?.

I don't know, but if I"m in Heaven, I can only imagine that my heart and head are in line with Heavenly thought and I would rejoice that he had truly repented and had received forgiveness. If I was unable to forgive, I don't think I'd be there.

All these muderers were favored, used and forgiven by God while on earth, I don't think you can confirm if they really reach heaven. However you sound sure that after waiting so long for Christ to born, crucified and resurrected they should be there by now.

If he truly accepts Christ as his Lord and Savior then yes, but it is much more than saying oh yea what I did was wrong please forgive me. The only way to get to heave is through Christ. God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, who so ever believeth in him shall not parish but have eternal life. You have to make a change in your life, live it for Christ and as if Christ was living in you. Once he is baptised he must make an effort to change his life and to live it for Christ, to strengthen his walk with Christ by reading his bible and living a life that Christ would live. does that mean he will never sin again, no it goes against our nature, we are going to sin, the thing is we do our best not to.

In reading your comments I see that you are mistaken on many different things. Confession of sins by itself does not save one. Scripture says to repent. That is turn away from sin. Christianity does not encourage people to sin. It helps people get out of sin. If you remain in sin then you cannot be saved. Now I know that you will probably use the previous sentence and twist it to say that everyone continues to sin therefore no one can be saved. So let me explain what is meant by "Remain in sin". That is someone who constantly chooses sin over not sinning.

You say Christianity does not encourage people to sin, It helps people to get out of sin. Then how does Christianity help a murderer to get out of his sin?. How does it help the priest that molests little boys?. How does it help the victims?.

Hi efc872! It was likely to a repentant murderer that Jesus said: Luke 23:43 (New International Version) 43Jesus answered him, "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise." Many have made mistakes in their lives and later came to realize the error of their ways. Since God can undo all the harm mankind does then He can forgive all that show true repentance. So I would say in answer to your question that with God anything is possible. God can see the genuineness of a person's repentance and judge accordingly.

Hhopefulman, Anyone reading your reply one would believe that I am questioning God and what he does. All I am asking is can you really murder someone/ your wife who is a religious godly person and find herself in heaven and look at face to face, eye to eye after you yourself do what is necessary to gain entry into heaven by going to Jesus, beg forgiveness, repent and baptize by the holy Ghost?. Don't try and twist what I am asking, please be honest, God will love you more.

God wants a man to love and cherish and protect his wife not murder her. To be honest, I would rather focus on love. The Bible says God is love. Let's focus on love!
