i would if it is my mom. we have the same shoe size so we can borrow each other's shoes whenever we wanted to. but if it's my cousin or other people i would think first before i would lend my shoes to them, or i wouldn't let them borrow. after all and who knows, they might have an athletes foot lol

hi rhane! i used to let my sister borrow my shoes. we have same shoe size so she often used to borrow shoes from me. but there came a time that she doesn't like my preferred style anymore. so she stopped borrowing from me. its a good thing because i only have a few shoes and sometimes, i want to use one of them but i can't because she's using it. and there was a time that i got annoyed because she lent my shoes to one of her friends without my permission. and then, i don't lend my shoes to other people, like cousins or big nieces or friends. i just don't think its a nice idea because they might have a smelly feet. but i borrow slippers from my mother and my sister. and then, those old shoes that i don't use anymore and are still in good condition, i give them away to relatives.

yes i will specially if we have the same size. my brother always borrow shoes from me and also some of my friend. i am lucky i have collection of shoes, borrowers must assure that my belongings are the same appearance when they borrow it from me because if they destroy it i won't let them borrow me again.

I wouldn't normally lend my shoes to anyone but my daughter but she's been bigger than me since she was 13. So has everyone else as I'm the smallest in the family and only 4ft 9in! It's not that I'm selfish but It's not very hygienic to share shoes so it would only be dress shoes I seldom wore and the ones in the family who wear my size are young teenage girls, and I doubt they'd want to borrow Great Aunties shoes! However we do share jewellery and clothes!

No - I think that is gross personally. I guess if you really know the person, but like others have said, I just don't want fungus or anything like that and would not let anyone borrow my shoes. If someone needed them, I'd rather just give them away because I just really don't like that idea.

I believe that I would not borrow my shoes to friends or family. On the other hand, I will buy used shoes like at Goodwill or a rummage sale. What happens if they would come back all stretched out of shape, or damaged in some way? You wouldn't be able to wear them again. The athletes foot doesn't bother me, I spray all shoes that I get used or new with disenfectant spray, and then let them dry. New shoes too, because you never know whose foot has tried them on. lol.

Weeeelllll, I just suppose its according to who that person is. Close family members I would not mind, but outside of the family I would have to think twice about.

I am not too strict with my shoes although I care a lot for them. I let somebody borrow them depending on the situation. Like if I know that the guy has no shoes of the kind, a casual shoe for example, and he has a special occasion to attend, I let him borrow it. But I remember one time, somebody borrowed my favorite shoes. He was going to attend a wedding that time and he has no black shoe. I never thought that he will be attending that wedding. When he returned it, I got shocked. Imagine, my brown suede shoe, became black. My gosh...

No i don't like people borrowing my shoes they won't take care of it like i do. My feet feel different when i put them back on, the shoe shape changes. I like to step in style when i walk and not get a scratch on them. Another person may scratch them and don't care.

yes! I let my friends and relatives borrow my shoes having the same size with mine. For my friends before letting them borrow my shoes I will see to it that she knows how to handle and care for my shoes.and of course I see to it that she have no foot disease or foul smelling foot or what they call athletes foot..hehehe yikes! For my relatives it is okay but have it healed first before borrowing my shoes..

I don't think it is a good idea to wear other people's shoes. You never know what kind of foot problems they might have. I would not want to wear another person's shoes and I would not lend mine to someone else. My daughter is no longer home and wouldn't want to wear my shoes. Besides, my foot is bigger than hers. I do know that she and her daughter sometimes borrow shoes from one another.

Heck no! I don't like to share clothing or anything like that. It isn't that I am selfish, if you need them I will give them to you but I don't want them back!

Hi rhane, I am fun of borrowing from my sister and mom, but they made me develop the attitude of not doing it..LOL! And I can't imagine someone borrowing my shoes, I would rather look for something that I can't use anymore and just give it to her..LOL!

It depends. If I know the person like my sister who actually same size of mine I will let her borrow my shoes. But if someone took my shoes without permission, I don't like. I don't want to be infected by a fungi, because this is hard to treat. I have a friend who have been infected by a fungal infection and it really hard for her to wear shoes, her foot also shouldn't be wet because fungi loves a feet to be wet they are easily multiply.
