I am a mother, but I am happy that they celebrate and give so much importance to father day too, because I know, most fathers are very loving and dedicated to family. Silent sacrifices that a father does for his children are sometimes not even noticeable, but we all know, it is father and his hard work that brings happiness to a healthy family. Also mothers sometimes, misguide children due to her over pampering and blind love for child, but father always guides children to right direction........So long live all good fathers of lucky children.......

yeah dear apsara the window that shows your inner strength. your kind feelings.and your recognition of the silent way a father would always encourage his children to be the winners in all situations that they may face tomorrow. prepares them well for the challenges that lie ahead and you have put it so delicately that it just touched my heart!!

sadly i haven't done anything since my dad is out of the country. but i did greet him a happy father's day when i called him. somehow he sounded happy because i did remember greeting him in this special day for all the father's. and it feels great that i made my dad happy even though hes not home. but when he gets back, im gonna treat him out, together with my mom.

My father is away from us. So what I and my other siblings did was to call him and greet him. It was really heart warming that he appreciated our time to call. We really missed him but we know that he's away because he have to work for us. He is a very responsible and caring dad.

yes that is the real situation where many dads will find themselves in . working in some of the most difficult situations , all alone missing the kids and the family. but they have to since they have promises to keep and they love their loved ones too much . hats off to all the fathers of the world.

hi dear fathers day is not really a concept followed here..but I dont require a special day to express my love to my dad and mom..i love them very very much and i start my each day by speaking to them in the morning and again before i sleep in the night to know how they spent their day..still i called them as usual and even sent a e-card for him..they both are pillars of strength to me and i can never thank them enough to have made me this way..have a nice day..

wonderful nupats. i never meant that we should do some favours on one day only. the system in india is that in most cases we have joint family but it is changing very fast. think of the people in armed forces. people posted in leh ladakh, or siachin or other difficult areas where they are away from their families for months together.i wish that you take care of your parents always and all the best.
