How much money do you give to beggars?

If I have change I give 1 rupee (2.5 cents) normally, if there is no change found, 5 rupees, how much do u give?

I also give 0.5 or 1 yuan for him . Because I 'm just a student I have not enough money and there are too many beggars in our society . I think our government should offer some jobs for him .

I rarely give money to beggars. I would rather give them food.

i am not in for begging
i hate the fact that people will beg to earn their living. i have seen far bad condition people working hard to earn their living so if they can do then so can others. but yes if the person is very old then i sometimes do give them some like 2 RS or sometimes 5RS
