Dating and the single woman

Okay so my goal this summer is to actually go on a date...since I have not had one in awhile. I actually forgot about this until I read a post by someone else on here....LOL I have been single for quite a while and it never really bothered me too much, except sometimes you get lonely. But then it passes. Well, I am on a mission. Because the thing I miss the most is the actual date process...the feeling of something new and the excitement that coms along with this. And so I am on the hunt for a prospect date....and I actually am checking out a local singles thing in my area here online...I met someone off here years ago and he was actually decent and did not try to kill me so there is potential there. So what are you dating goals if you are single? And how long has it been since you've been on a date?
