More and more I see products on the shelves made in China, india, Bangledesh, Romania and some other countries but the USA or Canada. No longer will I be purchasing these products because I want to have safe things to eat, safe vitamins and drugs to take, clothing that fits and that people were paid honestly and fairly to make, and items that won't fall apart. I just recently had to retire my refrigerator, it was so solidly made and lasted me over 43 years, now I had to have a freezer because there just wasn't one in my old fridge, but my freezer was made on this side of the ocean and is still going strong as well. Having seen many a documentary on how other countries treat their workers, how our own blue collar workers here have no longer got these jobs, and our own country is suffering as a result of this "unfair trade" is what I call it, I want to go back to the days when a man had a decent job, and a wife and mother could stay at home to raise her children because she wanted to or go out to work if she chose to do so, not because she had to, or that men and women who put their hearts into a company as a paid employee didn't lose his job just before retirement. I want that all back again in my country and not support others in other countries.... How about you??? Dragonfly77

I am a Canadian, and I do my best to support North American workers, so whenever possible I do my best to buy things made right here in North America. I'm a Canadian ciizen married to an American citizen, so we support both Canada and the USA.

danishcanadian IF we would all do this we might stand a chance of getting prosperity back onto our very own shores. We just have to pass it along and motivate more and more people to try and buy North American. Dragonfly77

Well, I'm in the Philippines but I would prefer to buy things made in USA or Canada because I'm sure they are durable. Japan made is more durable than china made.

I am from United States and it is getting harder and harder to find things made right here. I would rather buy home products than products made somewhere overseas. I believe in supporting your country. But it is made hard when you can't find things to buy that are made here.
