I have read about others getting fed up with these rude people on MyLot and I have joined them today! I have had a bad few days anyway here at home and turning to my mylot friends has been a great consolation but there are some really, really rude people on here. This is what I was just told in another discussion "Personally I don't think you are setting a very good example for those kids. You are teaching them that they can earn a living by clicking. When in fact - and you know this perfectly well - that even if you clicked all day you wouldn't make enough to buy hald a loaf of wonderbread, let alone something for on it."I do not appreciate this at all and took it very personal. My testimony has held up on MyLot hopefully in everything that I have done that I am a Christian and I do not appreciate this at all.
I am in tears and am upset, frustrated and I have totally had it! I QUIT! I want to thank each one of you sweet mylotter friends that have been so helpful to me and encouraging and I hoep and pray that I have been a little bit of encouragement to you and help to you. Thank you for your support.
It has been a pleasure to know some of you!God bless you all! and if you need me PM me I'll check back in for them.

Aw mama - you are the third one today to get so upset. I do so feel for you!
But please, please - don't abandon us completely. Take a break. Tell yourself over and over, that mylot is a large community and like every community, has it's share of bad apples and nasty minded people. They will always be there. What we can do is pray for them, ignore them, and refuse(!) to let them get under our skin. Stick with your friends and let them bolster you. If someone goes after you, pm me and let me know and I will deal with them. A lot of my friends do that and apparently I"m quite affective. So breath, here's a tissue to dry your eyes, and just take a break and come back refreshed and stronger for knowing what could happen, but you know you can rise above! Ok? Hi Cats - nice to see you actively involved again. We've missed you outside of your updates. Is your mum still coming home tomorrow? I hope so.
Hatley, the trolls are out in droves these days. New ones joining the site all the time.*sigh* All we can do is support our friends and try not to let the trolls get us down. mama has assured me she is staying and can hold her own. We are here for her anyway! So no stress on you ok?

troll or idiot or whatever the heck he or she is?
If she leaves he or she will win again so I pray she
stays. all of our really good users are getting whacked
by these bozos and some will leave, then the idiot or idiots
will have another field day. it makes me so angry and I
feel so helpless to help the people who are so hurt by
'this.

Don't let them get to you like that! One bad apple doesn't spoil the whole bunch! Yes, there are rude people on this site, and every other interactive site on the net. Their opinion is just that, an opinion. It isn't Gospel :)
Take a break if you must, but don't quit! If you do, then the rude person wins and that would be a total shame!

It always stuns me that people can get on here and berate others, yet find nothing wrong with it. And I mean people who don't post about others, people who aren't rude, yet they are continually attacked for reasons unknown to anyone but the trouble makers. I've had my fair share of them as well. In fact someone once said something so unbelievably mean, I really can't believe it actually happened. And what the subject matter was over made it especially mean. I've taken some breaks from mylot, but ultimately it is people like you who bring me back. Overall, there are more friends here than foes. But as friends, we need to speak up, so I want to speak up and say that I think you are a wonderful person and I value you and your posts very highly on mylot. I pray that this won't get you down too much. They aren't worth it even when it hurts greatly.

Oh my goodness AmbiePam! You are so sweet and those words made me cry my eyes out. I cannot leave MyLot because of all of you that have encouraged and supported me. I won't be starting any discussions for a while but I will be here to support y'all. Once again thanks so much for being my great friend!

I am so sorry that you have been treated rudely here at mylot. There is no excuse for it. I hope you will reconsider or just take a break and return to us. There are much more people here that aren't rude then there are that are rude! But if you decide to quit....so be it. But I for one feel really bad that you had a bad experience!

probably a troll. you know you are a sweet, good lady
and that should make you want to punch out that idiot
but not leave. most of us here are really good people
but there are a few idiots who just have to shoot off
their mean mouths and make someone miserable. if you
leave they have got their jollies so dont do it, That
person whoever he or she was had no right to say any of
'that to you, and I do think you should report that user
'to mylot.God bless you do not leave, let the rest of us
say how much we appreciate you and your postings. I know'
you are angry and I c annot blame you but if you leave
over that asinine discussion then this mean person will
just gloat. stay and tell him or her to go you know where

There are more nice mylotters than bad here so dont let this D1ck head run you out? What we all need to do is rate these people with a negative and report them~? They will go then as no one will want them here! Stay you are a nice person lets run out the nasties?

Yes mate, I like what the person above just said.
I have this trick in my self defence portfolio.
If I come across an unkind remark, that is directed at me, (luckily this has not happened for ages). I knit them a bright yellow bonnet, I am a 45 year old bloke, so this for me is a scream. There are words on the front that say, mindless and thoughtless.
I hand it to them and they put in on and wnader off.
This is all in my mind of course, but silent revenge is sneakily fun.

I've been busy so I am way behind of discussions so I must have missed what this is about, but I am sure that I wil come across it soon because I hope to catch up on some posting this week since I have the week off work. So sorry someone was rude to you and that is totally uncalled for. You have been a living testimony for Jesus and show nothing but Christian acts in my opinion. Remember we will be attacked for standing firm in our beliefs. But that's when we need to give him all the honor and glory for it!.

Yes, Terri, satan has been busy attacking me from all directions these past few weeks and yesterday was even worse and when that happened on here I just lost it. I just gave into letting satan use all these people to really get to me and then God used all your myLot angels to lift me up and carry me through some of this. Don't let those people affect what you do. Stand strong in whatever you believe in. Besides, in my experience, fear is the motivation of people like that. They don't want to think that they are missing out on anything and they usually feel secure only if they are in control. Taking a risk of any kind is not for them. It is for you. If you have had success on any level then just keep at it and ignore the buggers.

You should really blow this person off and act as if she/he/it hasn't said anything at all because there are rude people everywhere you go and one has to be the bigger one and ignore them and act as if they're not there. Don't get me wrong in saying this but, if we all left because of the rude ones then they'd win. I'm not about to let them win. I just don't respond to their nastiness. So please, don't go!!

Yep I know exactly what you mean as I have had a fair share of below the belt comments aimed towards my parenting skills, and they did not even get their facts right before they opened their mouths, it angered me a lot. Like I say " OK if you do not agree with something I say, fair enough this is what this place is about different opinions. But just because your opinion is different does not give a person an excuse to be insulting and nasty." Its not fair to do that.

Bless your heart. Don't let people get to you. You know in your heart that you're doing the best that you can. God knows that too. And that's the only important thing.
For those who say it isn't possible to earn a living on the internet, I say, "Phooey!" I'm not able to work anymore, but because of online survey opportunities and sites such as this, I'm earning about $300 a month. That may not be much, but it does help and it makes me feel like I'm contributing to the family.
Last week, one such site was offering triple points, and I was able to earn over $50 without spending any more time there than usual.
Please don't let one person spoil your time here. You are an encourager, and that's something every site needs!
