Another good place to get jewelry is on eBay. It helps to know things though since there is some risk there and there are liars. Make sure you read the description thoroughly, pay with PayPal (you can dispute easily through PayPal), and check their return policy before bidding. Then take it to be appraised if you don't have enough knowledge to tell real from fake. You can get some good deals, but it is a little risky since there are a lot of scam artists on there trying to get money for crap.

You don't pay then ten bucks and ALWAYS get 50 % off. You pay the $10.00 fee and get 50% off the first few campaigns. After that, your earnings are based on what you sell. So, unless they're selling over $1500.00 per campaign (provided they are past their first few campaigns), I can promise they're not making 50%.

I am assuming that you are asking if it is 10 karat gold or real gems? Most of it is not. It is usually gold plated or gems that have been made in a lab as opposed to a gem that has been mined or created naturally. When purchasing from Avon, you must be sure to read the description, especially if you are planning to wear the piece all the time. Otherwise, watch out for the green skin!

I think this really depends on how sensitive your skin is to the metals...mine is horrible and even a real piece that has a low karat such as ten karate often makes me have an itchy rash and green skin! So it all depends on the person. You can get real stuff, and if you are watching what's on sale like a hawk you can even get it for a good price. But that certainly isn't most of their stuff. On the other hand, if you are a sterling silver fan, they have some great items (I prefer silver since I have fewer problems with it).

Hello, I sell avon. They have both costime jewerly and real jewerly. You need to read the discription. They do tell you. They have both the gold overlay and sterling silver. I have plenty of both. As yet iam my own best costumer. I have more of the costume jewerly than any thing else. Im like Marylan Monroe that way.

Some of Avons Jewelry is real 10k gold but some if it is just gold plated. I am not much of a jewelry person myself but Avon does have some really nice pieces of jewelry. Pretty Affordable as well. http://www.youravon.com/tmcbride3833
