u know people in this world look and me and my gf like we are freaks..just because we are a lesbains...like one time me and my gf went 2 the bar and we dont hide who we are and this guy spoke up and said why dont u get out of here this is not a lesbain bar..should we just hide who we are??? or should we life are life like we are now??

Very true! I love going to the "gay" bars because it's the only place I know I can go with my husband and not have to worry if he leaves me for a second. I have come to hate the men in straight bars.

It would be nice if everyone was free to be who they were at any time in any place but that's not the real world and that's the world you and your gf are living in. I don't think it's safe for two gay women to be openly affectionate in a bar only because it's risky for both of you. When people drink they lose their inhibitions and will sometimes act in a manner that they normally wouldn't. I wouldn't want either one of you to be involved in an altercation with a drunk in a bar.

hey sassyass you like what you are, you both happy what you are, why hide yourself because of other? they will not make you happy? even not to give what you want..thinking of other people word is like wasting your life...live your life according to what you know is best for you..no one in this world will know what will make you happy...do not hide like a rat, you can't please anybody...but you are not living this life to please somebody but to be happy...

I think you should be able to live life just as you are. That guy had no right to say anything. People like that are such jerks. Now yes, I think you should live life as you are unless it's in a place where there are going to gang up on you and hurt you. And sadly in our messed up world, that does happen.

why hide?Just be who you really are.This guys are crazy.They ask other people not to do the things they don't like.They just want to make themselves happy.so ignore they,make yourself happy,it's true.Some lesbian don't understand straight people too.So everyone is right.Do yourself.

im happy that you and your gf dont hide who you are^^ whats the problem to show that you love each other? besides the bar didnt say only to straight also if said that would be a bit stupid. anyway im very happy that you and your gf didnt get affected with that and continue happy together. that man was a stupid and a discriminator. im sad that some people still see gay as not normal. im straight and i love and admire gay people for admit who they love without any prob with it^^ im proud of you and your gf and go whenever you want to and ignore mean people^^
