While driving, do you always follow the rules regarding speed, signal etc., or sometimes violate the rules? If so, on which occasions?

Everyone violates the rules sometimes. The most common violation is failure to SIGNAL!! It drives me NUTS when people don't signal their turns or lane changes! Speeding is also very common. Most speeding, however, occurs in the 5mph above the limit category. You know, the limit is 45, and people go 50? As for myself, I am much more watchful of my speed, but there are times when I exceed it without realizing it. This afternoon, there was a real numbnut in front of me who was a passive-aggressive driver. He was going VERY SLOWLY, and I had caught up to him. There is a Single-Lane bridge near my home, and he practically came to a complete STOP ON THE BRIDGE. There was NO reason for him to have stopped... no animals, no obstructions, etc. He merely wanted to "bother" me because I was on his tail and prepare to pass him after the bridge. Then, after the bridge, he LITERALLY drove in the MIDDLE OF THE ROAD in order to BLOCK my LEGAL attempt to PASS HIM! Again... HE was driving BELOW the 45MPH speed limit. I was merely wanting to pass him and proceed on at the 45mph! It was perfectly LEGAL for me to pass him. I turned on my signal to signal my passing, pulled out, and proceeded to pass him... and he started drifting over into the middle of the road again, nearly side-swiped me. I sat on my HORN as I passed him, and he had to move back. There was NO good or legal reason for his behavior. He simply, and for some reason, didn't want me to pass him.

Well I do not always follow all of the rules. Especially when it comes to driving, i tend to drive faster than the speed limit most of the time. I am trying to do better lately, because I really can not afford to get any speeding tickets. I also do not also wear my seet belt all of the time.I do always use my turn signals however.

In general I would say I subsscribe to the rules were made to be broken school of thought, but lately I've hadve been trying to follow more of the rules, because I dont watnt to suffer the consequences of breaking them. I'm old, but kind of irresponsible.

I try to always follow the rules of the road. I might turn without signaling should a turn "sneak up on me. If I speed, it is because I either didn't know the speed limit, or didn't know I was speeding. There is one block on my own street where I have caught myself speeding frequently. It is at the beginning of the street, and there are no houses there. I suppose my subconscious is telling me that there is no reason for a 20 MPH speed limit yet.
