I'm looking to get a new digital camera in the next month or so and I'm looking for recommendations. I do a combination of a bunch of things, including black and white photography, as well as stills as action shots. What do you like about your camera and what don't you like? Be sure also to list what brand/model you have as well. Thanks in advance.

I am not that expert to give you advice. We have nikon digital camera and recently my father in law bought a cannon. I think cannon is better than nikon.

Oh well i know that i have a polaroid im not exsactly sure of the model though. its almost like that pink one up there but mine is silver. I do like my camera, it has zoom in zoon out. you can change the settings like if your doing fire works. or if you wanna black out the background and judt take pics of the person. or if you are going water to get every ripple. in the dark pictures. just so many setttings lMAO. also it comes with this kinda of print shop. were you can correct photos.and you can make collages to a certin point. i dont really use it that much but it is nice to have when im feeling creative.NOW the only thing i have found to suck badly with my camera. is it doesnt have a picture printer... not with or no seprate. ive never ever never seen a printer for this camera:(.makes me sad.

we have sony cybershot, nikon coolpix, and fuji. i like sony better among the three because it captures better quality photos. our nikon and fuji are budget digicams. they work fine for a budget camera as long as you know how to match the settings with the environment and lighting. our sony costs higher than the two. i think higher priced cameras capture better picture than budget digicams and they also have more features. but select those features which are useful to you because there are some cameras that have unnecessary features. it really depends on the users preference. i suggest you choose a camera that suits your taste, has the useful features you want, and your budget.
