Obama supporters are (once again) falling over themselves to excuse, explain away, or simply shrug off their candidate's questionable judgement and associations.
The relationship between Barack Obama, William Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn has been described as anywhere from good friends to "part of the same circles" in Chicago.
For those of you who don't know, Dohrn and Ayers were part of the Weatherman (also known as "The Weather Underground). This was a radical "civil disobedience" group in the 60s and 70s.
They bombed police cars and departments, court houses, the National Guard Association building and the Pentagon.
Obama supporters do what they can to minimize the actions of these terrorists turned educators.
I wonder though, if Obama had the same relationship with former members of a group that bombed Abortion clinics... all other details being equal... how quick would they be to shrug if all off?

ParaTed,
The most overwhelming irony about what you have posted here is that the "Obamites" will not believe any disparaging words about their "messiah" until he actually gets elected and puts people like the reverend Wright and Louis Farrahkan in cabinate positions. Even then they will dismiss it as him not knowing it was wrong.

I don't think enough people are fooled to get him elected.

This double standard that we have in this country is just mind boggling. Bombing an abortion clinic to some in this country is the worst crime ever. That same group would say that bombing the National Guard Association building and the Pentagon is patriotism. We have already heard it out of Obama on mouth, that speaking against ones government is patriotic. To the left William Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn are true patriots, what morons. An abortion clinic bomber is a terrorist but Dohrn and Ayers are heroes, what morons. Yes I said it Obama supporter are morons who have a double standard a mile long. Just imagine what the Obamoronics would be writing if Eric Robert Rudolph a famous abortion clinic bomber had endorsed John McCain. I can see it now 15 discussions before the night was over.

Questionable associations seem to be a recurring theme in Obama's campaign. The words in the article that really stand out to me are that they advocated "revolutionary war against the United States government and the capitalist system should begin immediately."At this point a lot of people are wondering where Obama's true loyalties lie. This doesn't look good for him, to be associated with a group that once recommended revolutionary war agains the US government.

I guess we owe Obama an apology, I mean, how dare we question the integrity of a candidate with connections like this? ;~D
