OMG!!! I don't use those three letters lightly! My husband and I just watched The Bucket List starring Morgan Freemand and Jack Nicholson. I cannot tell you the depth of emotions that movie brought out in both of us! Even my husband had tears in his eyes. We felt the pain those men were going through in the hospital. We both laughed until we cried. We were mesmerized by this movie and if it doesn't win at least 10 Academy Awards, something is wrong! I highly recommend seeing this movie if you see no others all year. If you haven't seen it, you really must! If you have, did it have the same effect on you?

Oh, do bump it up! It will be worth it, I guarantee it! I agree, Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson are two of the best actors around. I wish they would live forever... and keep acting!

Oh, please do! Let me know how you felt. I'd hate to think I was the only one who got so emotional over a movie!

it started out a bit slow for me, but i understand why, it had to set the feel for these men in their last acts. i loved the movie and laughed quite a bit, cried at the end of course, but i expected that, since they were terminal patients. my favorite part is when they are in the airplane getting ready to jump and Jack is talking all loud and funny to be heard, then pushes Morgan and pulls his own arms waaay back then flings himself and his trainer guy out the door!! the trainer guys head gets flung back! LOL!

That really was funny, I agree! LOL I liked Morgan Freeman's "pay back" when they were in the race cars and Jack's reaction to it.

Well I never watch TV and I'm not a movie person but you have me so curious I will have to rent that one. My husband watches anything and everything. Doesn't bother me much till star trek comes on, I get busy doing something else as far away from the television as possibe. It would be refreshing to sit and watch something we can both watch.Thsnk You

You and your husband sound very much like me and mine. I'm rarely watching the television, but he always has it on. He's always asking me to come and watch a movie with him, but usually it is something I don't care for, and find some excuse not to watch it (like housework!). But this movie we both saw the previews for and knew instantly that we had to see it. I sat and watched the entire movie without doing anything else, and that is rarer than a blue moon! That is why I had to post it. I'm not easily impressed with movies; only a handful have really made a big impression on me, but this one easily tops the list. Enjoy watching it, and make sure you have tissues handy!

I tried to rent it last night, but they were out of it. I keep hearing how good it is. Maybe later in the week, I will have time to try again.

Yes, the end was where my husband started crying. I couldn't believe it! I've never seen him cry over a movie before. I tear up over any emotional movie, but this one was a boo hooing, tears dripping off my face, half a box of tissues emotional movie! One line I will never forget was when Jack Nicholson was telling Morgan Freeman the 3 things you should always remember when you get old... never pass by a bathroom, never waste a... well, you know, what men get when they're excited, and never trust a fart. I cried at that, too, but only because I was laughing so hard!

I just saw this movie the other day and I must agree with you. In fact I had to watch it twice. It is a very good movie. I also cried and laughed all the way through it. The actors did a good job of portraying the pain of the two men. Today so many movie are crappy. But it is very nice to find one that is well acted and well written. I love to watch a movie that touches the heart. I would also recommend that everyone see it too.

I agree with you! They couldn't have chosen two better actors to play these roles! And the writing couldn't have been better! This movie had better win at least 10 Academy Awards, or I'm going to protest!

That might be a good idea. This movie is sad because it deals with two terminally ill patients. But it is also extremely heartwarming at the same time, and also has some hysterically funny scenes. Not all of the scenes that made me cry were sad... they were just so touching! This is definitely one movie that will bring out most of your emotions! I hope your stress is over quickly. I've had my share of it and I know what it's like going through it. Whatever is causing it, I hope that it is resolved soon. Take care!

Oh, yes, please do! You'll be glad you did. This is definitely one that should not be passed up. If I were a betting person, I'd lay odds that this one will come away with more Academy Awards than any other movie.

I saw this the day it came out in the movies...I couldn't wait to see it. My fiance who isn't a real movie person even wanted to see it. We thought we would be laughing through the whole thing and though there are some funny parts in it...We left the movie with tears in our eyes. I called my sister last week (who has been very depressed lately and going through some tough times) to check on her and see what she was doing she told me she had just rented this movie and was going to watch by herself...I told her it was a great movie but being in her state it probally wasn't a good idea to watch by herself. She was expecting it to cheer her up since it was in the comedy section. I told her I would watch it again with her...I was a great movie.

That was very thoughtful of you! This movie is definitely NOT one to see if you are depressed and alone! I mean, the bottom line of these two guys meeting and becoming best friends in only 3 months is so very heartwarming and the wonderful things they did together were also heartwarming and downright FUNNY! But they do such a great job of pulling you right into their lives that it hurts so much when they die. I can suggest a funny movie... Farce of the Penguins. I saw March of the Penguins and cried because their lives were so hard! But Farce of the Penguins is really funny! They add voices to the penguins and it's a lot of fun to watch. Ice Age is also a great movie to cheer you up, if she hasn't seen it already.

The Bucket List is the most beat movies ever released, Morgan Freemand and Jack Nicholson were just awesome in this movie. The concept, the story, the acting, everything about this film was just great, this is those kind of a movie which can be seen many times with a boredom ....
