Im new here and I need to know about marking the best discussion. What if I either dont like what has been posted (not that Ive as of yet gotten any posts that I didnt like) or feel that the posts are of equal help or interest? Do I have to mark something anyway? Someone please let me know what you do when and if you have this problem. Thank you :-)

People in mylot will have two type of problem/Dilamo when they mark as the Best Response..
-- One is they will get more than one response as a good response, they have a dilamo to mark which one as a best response.. At this point of time, they suppose to select the best from the Good responses.. When i get the two or more Best responses, i will choose the youngest member of those two, and mark them as the best response, to encourge them..
-- The other one is like your discussion.. If you will not the response upto your satisfaction, or the responses will not be at par with the discussion what you have raised, you can wait till you get the best reply from the members of mylot, there is nothing wrong in it.. else if you really need to mark the best response at that point menas, that, you have to select any of the responses, out of which you got it, you have to select as the best response..

Thank you for your input. I like the fact that you will give the response to the newest member in order to keep them encouraged. :-) have a great day ! !

I am totally new here and havn't a clue how I will find my way back once I leave here. I just posted a comment and previewed it and it disappeared. I had to put this one in again. I was interested in another discussion and made the mistake of going somewhere else and I cant find it again. Can anyone help?

you really should give a best response.so just pick which'one seems a bit better than all the others. that is what I do
if the responses all seem about equal as there is always one
that does seem to be a bit better than the others.

I do like to give a BR because I know that, for the most psrt, when people respond to a discussion the majority of them are sincere about what they are saying. It just seems that I have had a couple discussions that there were only a couple of responses and both were as if it were for the credit of responding only. Those are the ones that I dont like to give BRs to.

I understand what you're talking about. There are really times when we have a lot of helpful responses to a discussion. But you have to choose only one. When I am in your situation, I guess I'll weigh which response helped me most, or something that made me change my perspective, or find a new solution. Something that made me think more than the other responses.
Goodluck! You can do it.

You are the ultimate judge of who gets best response. I usually wait until all responses are in before I give the best response. There is no race to give the best response as far as I am concerned. Enjoy!!

Im sure you will find posts that you will like. With hundreds of discussions being posted every minute, you will be able to decide what post you will comment on.
Happy Posting!

I dont seem to have a problem finding discussions that I like, its just that there are times that I cant decide which comments that I like the best as far as comments on my discussions. :-)
