hi everyone,which is the oldest language existing on earth?? and in which part of the world is it spoken??

Hello,suhas!Sanskrit is the oldest language of the world.but this language is not a spiking language of the people now a days.it has remained as a study subject of the Indian students in their school career.this language existed for the last five thousand years.thanx.

I've always been told that Latin was one of the oldest laguages on Earth. It's the language from which most of the languages evolved from. Whether it's the oldest I don't know. But what do I know? I'm no linguist.
