My Husband and I recently gave our bathroom a face lift. This was a 2 week d-i-y project (since we both have full-time jobs). We were able to keep the project just under $1500.00 since we did all the work ourselves. I have more before and after pictures that I am uploading under my profile if you want to check them out. Do you have a bathroom makeover you can share? Would love to see photos! :)

That's a nice looking bathroom. I like the simple color scheme. I don't have the time or money to do that. The other day my sister and I cleaned my bathroom, though. I scrubbed the shower for one and a half hours non-stop. I kid you not. That thing is squeaky clean.

Thanks! There is no natural light into the bathroom so I decided to keep the color palate simple, neutral and crisp. Enjoy your squeaky clean bathroom! :)

That is not bad. DId you replace all the fixtures? Where did you get the travertine. I am going to be starting a bathroom soon and think that it would be wonderful to have. I love the look.

We did a makeover in our master bath a few years ago. But, the main thing we did was sand our cabinets (my Daddy and brother did all our cabinets in our house when we built it)and paint them white. Then my husband built a cabinet for over my commode and painted it white. We then put up new wallpaper. We have tile on our sink cabinet, shower, and floors, so we didn't have to do anything but paper and paint. We meant to get to our hall bath and back bath, but I broke my hip and we've never done them. We made it through our Den, skipping the other BRs and middle bath and just stopped. Maybe before we get too old we can finish what we started. It's so hard to get back to makeovers when you stop in the middle.
Your bathroom looks nice. I love the colors, too. Your rug looks the same as what I have in my Masterbath.
