80's Teen Movies

What are your favorite 80's teen movies? My favorite is 'The Breakfast Club'. John Hughes made so many of the really awesome 80's teen flicks and that one is my favorite. I even wrote my senior research paper about it (my topic was how the movie was able to portray the characters by what they ate for lunch, how they arrived to the school etc). I think that this movie is really funny and I love the characters and the actors that play them. I also really loved Ferris Bueler's Day Off, Pretty in Pink and Sixteen Candles. Which are your favorites? What is it about them that you like?

I'll have to admit, "The Breakfast Club" was one of my favorite movies also! When my kids were growing up, I used to sit and watch it with them, all the time, and I really enjoyed it, because I associated it with the experiences I had in high school, and college! Oh, and thank you for the best response you gave me, on youtube videos! I really appreciate it!

Well, you deserved the best response =) My mom watches the Breakfast Club with us. She likes it too. It's just one of those movies where it really doesn't matter how old you are, it's just good. People can relate to the characters.

The Breakfast Club is one of my favorite 80s films. John Hughes made them so realistic and relatable. You don't see that anymore and that's sad. I like how he portrayed everybody and we learned about their cliques. It will be timeless because of it's content. There will always be cliques in high school.

I have noticed a lack of good quality teen movies lately. John Hughes was really good at making the characters relatable. You can kind of recognize the characteristics of the groups in The Breakfast Club in people/groups in your own high school experiences.

I love the movie The Breakfast Club we still watch it once in awhile. My favorite teen movie from the 80's was called Girls Just Want To Have Fun I watched that movie alot! It starred Sara Jessica parker in her younger years!

I remember that one. I believe Helen Hunt plays her friend. She is into dancing and stuff. I had kind of forgotten about that one. I, too, still watch the Breakfast Club every once in a while.
