Looking down on ones parents - is it a terrible attitude to have!

My girlfriend, who I met up with for dinner last night told me that she finds that she looks down on her parents because they are ... "uncultured, lack a university or college education, and are lacking in adventure".
But my friend's parents have been loving and caring towards her all the same. Should she change her attitude toward them?

Yes definitely, having a lot of learning doe not make you a better person inside, and I can promise you if she feels this way and treats them unlindly she will find it very hard to live with herself when she loses them,we don't have our parents for long we should treasure them and show them all the love we can.
