Hello,WATRIKENJI! I am against this bottled water.i believe that the bottling companies are packing the tape water and claiming to be mineral water.in our country last year there was test of the bottled water and was found to be ordinary water.there was no mineral treated water in the bottle.besides the plastic bottle might harm our body at the long run so stop drinking the bottled water.thanx.

Bottled (distilled) water is generally safe. Establishments, which sells commercial bottled drinking water, must meet the standards of a country, when it comes to safe drinking water, before they can sell such on the public.
However, if the plastic bottle, with a drinking water inside, is heated for a certain degree in temperature, then there could be a chemical reaction between the water and a particular material on the plastic bottle. The distilled water, which should be pure H2o,will no longer be "distilled"

Even the tap water in my country is safe for drinking, so I believe that the bottled water sold in my country is definitely safe. I am not sure about other countries though.
Recently I went to China and we were told their tap water is not fit for drinking. We ended buying many bottles of mineral water and distilled water to drink. That's the only thing available. We have no choice but to trust.
I guess if the water is not too hot, the plastic should not have an effect on the water.
