Have you ever done something that your friends/family wouldn't expect you to do?

Since I met my "friend" 5 years ago, he's been taking me motorcycle riding. I love it! I never thought I would be a biker babe. Are you doing anything now that you never thought you would be doing?

From your photo, I just can't picture you as a 'biker babe'! LOL Hmmm, does living without my kids count? Five years ago I didn't think they'd EVER move out! I miss them, but I'm happy that they're on their own, because they are happy. Other than that, maybe just having a big garden and fishing lake in my own back yard. Nothing that I have NEVER thought about, just things I never thought would happen five years ago. Oh, not nearly as exciting as being a biker babe, but I never thought I'd ever be riding on a rider mower cutting a 2 acre lawn! I should put on a motorcycle helmet and black leather jacket while doing it. What do you think? LOL

You'll have to have that printed on the lawn mower too.

my family was against such, but when I was 19, a friend of mine had motorcycle, and not knowing I needed a license for driving it, they taught me to ride it, I use to go up and down the streets, with it. I had a blast, never thought I would ever ride on one let alone be able to drive it. It was cool. I could only hold up one bike during the time, my upper body is not strong enough, but it was fun then, I am so glad you were able to experience it, have fun and be safe.

do you think you may do it again. Or even yet, learn to ride, I want a 3 wheeler, it is good on gas, safe as a car and I think it would be like a bicycle on the highways, One day, this will come to pass I pray for me. But if not, memories are good, and one will never know when one comes up and has one of those beautiful bikes just to shotgun with, is shotgun the correct word for bikes, I know it is for cars. Lynn, I don't think I will ever get my own bike, (but than again never say never). My friend has been riding for over 25 years and I feel safe riding with him. However, I am seeing more and more woman riders, which is great. If I were 25 years younger I might consider owning my own bike, but not now.

Thats wonderful. I'm sure you'll do fine. Once you learn how to drive, you can never unlearn. Its like swimming or riding a bicycle.

I am. I am engaged to be married to a military man. I live in a town that is surrounded by ALL branches of the military and have the utmost respect and admiration for them all, but when I was a teenager my friends would go away to boot camp and come back as someone that I didnt recognize (they werent as laid back and friendly as they once were). Thats when I swore that I would never get involved with a military man, they were just too cocky for me. Well, needless to say, this "military man" came along 6 years ago and stole my heart. I guess you could say Ive matured a lil through the years :-)
