I try to teach my daughter how to read. It is hard to teach her. She is already 4 years old. To teach her how to count is easy. I also enroll her on the kumon class. It is a class on how to count and write number japanese style. She likes it and helps her to learn how to count. But teaching her on how to read is not as easy as number. Do you have any idea on how to do it?

I don't have kids yet but I have a 4-year-old nephew that's very hard to teach something and so hard to ask to just sit down with me and teach him something like ABC. hehehe.. He's a crazy kid, the craziest among my nephews and nieces actually. Anyway, if you ask him his name, he'll give you his address and he doesn't know his parent's real name. He only know their nicknames. hahaha.. If you ask him to recite the ABC's, he'll give you his won version of ABC's which only take him a few seconds because right after M, he'll jump to letter Z then to letter U. hehehe.. I sometimes be the one to teach him but I have to have something he ever wanted for him to sit down with me. hehehe..
