So far, I think I'm lucky enough because all the discussions that I started have had at least one reply to each. On the other hand, I don't start many discussions so that isn't something extraordinary either. By the way, the "discussions with no responses" section is the main section I reply in. I know most of the mylot users will either target the "top discussions" or "discussions from my interests", but I want to be a little different and hence I post to that category instead. Besides, I'm sure mylot members will be happy if I were to bring their discussion response count from zero to one. In fact, it is from the "discussions with no responses" section that I actually found your discussion, so that section is not useless after all!

I post quite a bit but I have had only a few that didn't get a response. I guess the topics of those just didn't resonate with people. I try to go the the no responses category pretty often because it helps other MyLotters to have their discussions answered. Some new members find it hard to get replies and that can be frustrating.

I've had some. i do go through discussions that have no responses and add comments. i would want someone to do that for me, so I will do it for someone else.

I think it is a good practice to do that. It makes MyLot a better place.

Sometimes I do start discussions to which no one responds. Usually this is my own fault for starting really lame discussions sometimes. What I then do is send a PM to someone on my friend's list along with the url to the discussion. Then I tell them the first person to respond to the zero response thread gets the BR. That usually takes care of it. I return this favor to all my friends who ask the same of me.

That's a good way to promote your discussions. I'd probably only send a link if it was something I thought everyone should read.
