Tiger Woods never ceases to amaze me! The man just had knee surgery 2 months ago and comes back to play and then win the US Championship! Are you kidding me?!?! Did anyone watch the interview afterwards? To hear his story about how he was on familiar territory because that was the course his father took him to on his 10th birthday. You could tell he was fighting back the tears. This guy is just amazing! What are your thoughts/comments about this outcome?

I think he has to be the best golfer of all time. I mean everybody knows that but he is really good. I think he just has a lot of determination and skills. No one in history was as good as TIger Woods. He is truly amazing. He just tries so hard and become so successful. Everybody knows how he played from young age. He is the golf genius of our time and maybe forever. Winning US Championship after a knee sugery!! Your need to have good solid leg to play golf well and he certainly showed what he was made of there!

I watched, on The Morning Show, the clips of when Tiger Woods was playing in the tournament for the U.S. Championship. I could see the pain in his face. I think he tried to come back to play golf a little too soon. He was advised against playing and he told his doctor that he was going to play and that he was going to win. And win he did! Now, he will have to have reconstructive surgery of his knee and heal and go through rehabilitation for 6 months. Hopefully, the surgery will be successful for Tiger.

Yeah, you could definitely see the pain in his face. It's moments like that that make you appreciate these athletes that put their heart and sole into the sport. Another "Mary Lou Retton" moment in sports history! :)

I watched the other night, Sunday actually when he made that unbelievable put. I mean we all know Tiger is awesome, but there was a chance that he wouldn't make it and that he did,it was just all the more amazing. I actually thought that they generally would've just played that last hole over again being they tied not play all 18 holes again.

I just hope he is able to fix his knee and come back next season in even better shape than what he's ever been. Because he did mention that for the past decade, his knee has been troubling him (he said this, at the EA sports thingy this week). Just imagine how well he'll play if his knee is fully recovered by next year. The remainder of the season will not be that interesting without him playing.

I agree. It would be hard to deal with a season with out him after winning the US Open. I personally think he will be fine. Actually, I think he will be better than ever!! Thanks for your response! :)
